Investing in R&D, developing new ideas and involving younger generations are only a few of the key objectives that RenFactory aims to achieve over the next 9 months.

Founded in May 2013, RenFactory is now fully active in the renewable energy sector and offers an innovative portfolio of products, proving to be far more efficient than traditional photovoltaic systems.

Unlike roof-mounted systems, RenFactory is able to increase energy production up to 20% – 50%.

“Roof installations are no longer profitable, since they involve a significant waste of time and resources. Under the grid parity scheme, the return on investment would be highly affected, any warranties provided by the manufacture may become void, and the integrity of the building may also be compromised. At RenFactory we believe that the solution is much simpler than commonly assumed.

The installation of a traditional roof-mounted system may be quite complex and expensive. As a result, product standardisation may eliminate the need for costly installation procedures, ensuring a significant reduction of the final cost , with savings of up to thousands of euros as compared to a traditional 3 kWp plant! ” .

The full incorporation of electronic components into the system frame makes it possible to increase the energy output capacity up to 20%, with the generators already available in the market (Solaris and Solaris Base Plus), and up to 50%, with the new Solaris UP, expected to be launched in 2014. The technology developed by RenFactory enable continuous energy production, even in conditions of partial shading or in case of damage to one or more photovoltaic modules: Solaris generators ensure ongoing energy production.

What is the output capacity of Solaris generators? Our 3,000 kWp generator can produce up to 4,350 kWh in Northern Italy and up to 5,000 kWh in Southern Italy (tests conducted with SSC generators).

In addition to producing electricity, our generators are designed to provide a number of extra benefits, such as video surveillance , WiFi and LED lighting.
Today it is possible to integrate different products and technologies to build and innovate urban landscapes: “We strongly believe in the concept of Smart City: a place where users can easily get access to the electricity grid and the Internet, totally free of charge. ”

RenFactory is planning to recruit at least 8-10 professionals with different profiles by the end of 2013, and 20 new professionals are to be allocated to our production unit of Padua by the third quarter of 2014.

RenFactory is now completing the launch of Solaris generators and has entered into agreement with a number of international partners for the development and improvement of R&D activities.
